4th Graders Head Out on the Trail

4th Graders in Mrs. Archer's classroom are headed west in Social Studies to learn about the Oregon Trail and the hardships many of the pioneers faced as they made the trek to the Oregon Territory. Students will have to decide which belongings they will take with them on their long journey, and how they will pack it all into their prairie schooner. As they travel, they will keep a journal of their daily activities on the trail, including some of the dangers they encounter along the way!
