BENEFITS TO CHILDREN ON FREE AND REDUCED MEALS
If your school-age children (Grades K-12) were enrolled in school on May 19, 2022, AND were approved for Free or Reduced meals for May 2022, you will be eligible for a “2022 Summer P-EBT Benefit” (Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer)
Summer 2022 P-EBT benefits were processed December 15, 2022. Many households with eligible students will receive newly issued P-EBT cards by mail in the next week to 10 days.
The eligibility requirements for Summer 2022 P-EBT are:
- Student was enrolled in your school district (not homeschool) on the final day of SY2021-22; AND
- Student was eligible for Free or Reduced-price meal benefits during SY2021-22 or summer coverage period of May 31, 2022 – August 13, 2022 (by direct certification or meal benefits application).
