BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship
GENERAL INFORMATION
The BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship Program has been established to:

Recognize high school seniors who personify the values of leadership and integrity

Emphasize the importance of ethical behavior, community service and academic accomplishments
-
Strengthen BBB ties to the communities it serves
-
Establish relationships with future business leaders
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifies as a high school senior
-
Plans to continue education after high school graduation
- Special consideration will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and who plan to attend an institution within the BBB service area

Resides in BBB’s service area - Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota. Eligible counties in Iowa include: Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, Pottawattamie and Shelby. Eligible counties in Missouri include: Adair, Andrew, Atchison, Bates, Benton, Buchanan, Caldwell, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Daviess, De Kalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Henry, Holt, Howard, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Linn, Livingston, Macon, Mercer, Morgan, Nodaway, Pettis, Platte, Putnam, Randolph, Ray, Saline, Schuyler, Scotland, Sullivan and Worth. All counties in Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota are eligible.
AWARDS & JUDGING CRITERIA
Three $2,000 scholarships will be presented to students from each of the following areas:
1. Omaha Metro Area & Southwest Iowa
2. Lincoln Metro Area & Greater Nebraska
3. South Dakota
4. Kansas Plains
5. Kansas City & Western Missouri
Scholarship recipients will be selected by an independent panel of judges from the academic and business communities and will be awarded based on the following judging criteria:

Leadership
-
Academic
The names of the 15 award winners will be announced by BBB Midwest Plains in May 2024.
Award winners will each receive a $2,000 scholarship to an accredited school/college of their choice. Scholarships will be distributed directly to their post-secondary institutions upon verification of enrollment.
Scholarships must be applied toward tuition and/or room and board.
Winners will be asked to provide a photo to be used by the BBB in marketing materials and on social media.
