I grew up in Brainard, Nebraska, and received my secondary teaching degree from UNL. For six years, I taught grades 7-12 English at Rising City, and I spent 18 years at Centennial teaching primarily 9th and 12th grade English. I received my Master's Degree in English Education from Concordia University in Seward and my School Counseling degree from UNK. This is my third year at Friend Public School, where I am the K-12 school counselor. I have one daughter, Alli, who is a nursing major at UNMC-Lincoln. In my spare time, I love being with my family and friends, traveling, and kayaking. I love being part of the Bulldog family!
