POST 4959 BLUE VALLEY VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS AUXILIARY
SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION - FRIEND PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Eligibility:
A graduating senior of the Friend Public Schools who is of good personal and moral character. Student must have a desire to further his or her education and who is accepted at an accredited school of higher learning.
Application:
Student provides the following to the Friend High School Counselor for the Post 4959 Blue Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Scholarship:
• Student Resume
• Post 4959 Blue Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Scholarship Application
• 250-300 word essay titled “What is Patriotism to Me?”
• Results will be provided to the High School Counselor for announcement during graduation.
Award:
$250.00 tuition direct payment to the accredited institution.
Submission Date:
No later than 1 March.
