Sam Shutts Memorial Scholarship

The Sam Shutts Memorial Scholarship is established to provide support for a Friend Public School senior who is accepted to and attends a Nebraska community college and is actively pursuing a career in a trade (i.e., construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
The Shutts family is establishing this scholarship in memory of Sam Shutts. Sam was a 1961 graduate of Friend High School where he lettered in football and basketball and track.
