Kearney Area Community Foundation Scholarship Opportunities

Seniors planning to enter the mental health field or attend UNK are encouraged to apply for these scholarships:
- The McKenna's Rae of HOPE Mental Health Field Scholarship ($1,000): This award is available to Nebraska high school seniors who plan to enter the mental health field. In addition, college students majoring in a mental health field may apply.
- Deadline: April 1, 2021

- The Roy and Doris Abood Scholarship ($990): This award is available to first-generation college students who plan to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) on a full-time basis.
- Deadline: April 1, 2021

- UNK Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Scholarship ($250): This award is available to males that will be a full-time freshman or first year student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in the fall semester 2021.
