Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Scholarship Program
Deadline: January 12, 2020 by midnight
The scholarship program is designed to invest in entrepreneurial talent. In 2019-20, 62 students earned Engler scholarships totaling almost $250,000. The scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $6,000 for an academic year with students eligible to reapply each year of their undergraduate career. A limited number of renewable scholarships are also awarded each year. The online application form can be found here.
Eligibility
Engler scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an undergraduate student in the College of Agriculture Sciences and Natural Resources (If you are currently a high school senior or planning to transfer from another college, please apply if you plan to declare a major in CASNR.)
- Must have had FFA or 4-H experience previously.
- Demonstrate a passion for entrepreneurship, have experience in business enterprises as an employee, owner, family member, FFA SAE project, or any number of other avenues that have stoked the fire in your belly for free enterprise.

- Strong work ethic, accountable, risk-taker, self-starter, creative, innovative, results-oriented, team-oriented, tenacious, competitive, and resilient.
Process:
- Complete the online application and submit to us by January 12, 2020 at midnight.
- Semi-finalists will be notified on January 24.
- Phone interviews will be conducted from January 29 through 31.
- Finalists will be notified on February 7th, as well as scholarship awards for those not advancing to the finals.
- On campus interviews for finalists will be held March 10, 2020 and final awards offered by March 17, 2020.
